Dear Friends,I am pleased to unveil my personal website - http://januarymakamba.com/ - which I have been putting together for some time. It is basically a source of information on Bumbuli, my personal self, and events and activities we will be pursuing there. There is also a story (My Story) about my journey from "Who am I?" tab. The site is still work in progress - we will attempt to have a Swahili version and a discussion forum or chat room in the coming weeks.
What I am most excited about the site is that we have managed to broadcast Live TV from Tanzania. You can get it from "media" tab. For now, we are testing ITV. TBC and may be other channels may come later). I think this will help our fellow Tanzanians in the Diaspora to keep abreast with news at home. I also encourage you to visit and sign up at www.bumbuli.org which is still under construction. This will be a corporate website for the upcoming Bumbuli Development Corporation, a vehicle for Bumbuli transformation. It will also be a much comprehensive site on information about solutions we are working on in Bumbuli.

ReplyDeleteinaonyesha katika sentensi yako kama vile wewe hauko pale uko sehemu nyingine na unatekeleza majukumu ya kuendeleza Bumbuli ukiwa aidha dodoma au dar.
Naomba usahihishe hiyo sentensi. In future, have a few people look at your writings before posting them out to public. Otherwise, good start.

ReplyDeleteI am impressed with your personal story and in fact it almost resembles mine but I'm not in the public arena. In all honesty, my impression of you is your dad's reputation (no offense). Your humble beginnings will make you a great leader.
ReplyDeleteIt seems you have enough influence on our president and it is not too late to advice him to accept democracy by letting opposition control different municipalities.
The new generation of leaders is people like you who have traveled around the globe and know what democracy entails.

Anony was 10:37 kweli kabisa! It's such an embarrassment. Website za serikali zinatia AIBU, and this one too I'm sorry to say. They year is 2011 Michuzi, it's all about improving your craft. Try making your site a bit more organized and easy to navigate. Na saa zingine tunapenda kusoma habari ingekuwa vizuri kuwa na archives jamani. This is one of the most important new sources we have on the web as Tanzanians, it should look better.

ReplyDeleteMimi ninakubaliana na huyu mtoa maoni kwani hata mimi historia yangu iko hivyo hivyo na pia nina elimu kubwa kukushinda. Nimeishi Tanzania miaka 18 nikiifanyia serikali kazi zake bila hata kiinua mgongo. Nimeishi nchi za nje pamoja na marekani unayoisema kwa muda mrefu pengine kuliko wewe. Nimekutana na magavana karibu wa state zote (isipokuwa alaska - unapoona ndege za urusi ukiwa nyumbani - shangaa!!!)! Nimeonana na maseneta wengi, pamoja na BO mwenyewe kabla na hata baada akiwa raisi. Ambacho sina ni kwamba baba yangu ni mkulima na hakuwahi kufikia hapo alipo babako wewe. Sasa ni lazima tukubali si nguvu zako mwenyewe zilizokufikisha hapo, bali pia influence (neno la kiswahili ninalikosa hapa) ya mzee.

it is such a CLEAN and precise politics we have been waiting for, you have my support all the way, I am sure you will set a benchmark and precedence on all political stages, powerhouses from Diwani to MP, and show them how to behave, engage and most importantly what it is meant to be politician and serve the people who have chosen you as MP, if that be Bumbuli or Mwanza. it is such a TRANSPARENCY in our politics, going to another level, unprecedented.
But again, tell Ba Makamba to step out the way to give you a clear way to proceed.
