Dr. Nyamajeje Calleb Weggoro, Personal Assistant to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania (Regional Integration), was today elected, unanimously, to be the Executive Director of the East African Constituency ofmthe AfDB by seven Ministers for Finance from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda for the period of three years. He will be representing the interests of seven countries in the AfDB Headquarters in Abidjan, Ivory Coast with effect from 1st July, 2016. The elections were held in Lusaka, Zambia where Annual Meetings of AfDB for 2016 are going on.
