TANZANIA’s Ambassador to Belgium Diodorus Kamala is among 3,049 graduates who will be conferred with various degrees in the 11th Graduation ceremony of Mzumbe university in Morogoro tomorrow.

The University’s Director of Communications, Ms Rainfrida Ngatunga said in a press statement that the graduation will be preceded by the 12th Convocation meeting today.

“Of all these graduates 716 will get certificates, 94 diplomas, 1143 Bachelor degrees,1515 will be conferred with Master Degrees while two including Ambassador Kamala will be conferred with doctorate degree,” she said.

According to the director, Ambassador Kamala did a study on  Intra-regional Trade of Tanzania in East African Community while Mr Rutasha Fulgence Dadi who will also be conferred a doctoral degree alongside Mr Kamala did a study on Seeking Health Under Pluralistic Medical System:  Determinants of Resort Patterns Among People Living with HIV/AIDS in Bagamoyo.

She said the Mzumbe Dar es Salaam College will hold its graduation next week on Friday where 1019 graduates will be conferred with Master Degrees.

“In this year’s graduation ceremony there will be 1170 male and 1279 female graduates,” she said, adding that preparations for the important event was ready.

The last decade has seen the Mzumbe University contributing dearly in Education Sector in Tanzania. It has campuses/colleges in Mbeya and Dar es Salaam Regions.

“The university vision is to be a centre of academic excellence in management science  for knowledge acquisition and dissemination of knowledge and skills through training, research, technical  and professional service,” Ms Ngatunga said.

  1. Is that the 2nd PhD for Kamala? He has been referred as Dr Kamala for more than five years or so!!!

  2. But we used to call Kamala with initials indicating that he was a PhD holder. Even when you look at his business card as a member of Nkenge constituency, you will see Dr Deodoras Kamala. Was that docorate a honorary one of what was it. And whateever his doctorate was, which university confered it?

  4. nanyie nanyi hamjui sikuhizi mnaweza fanya masters online tu sio mpaka mumuone mtu anakanyaga mguu eti anaenda chuo kila siku ya nini sikuhizi mambo mtandaoni tu mtajibeba mwenzenu ndio huyo anachukua ya pili sasa.yaone kwanza wivu tu.

  7. Someni na ninyi ili Mhitimu kama Dr. Kamala acheni uvivu angalieni Maktaba za Mikoa na ya Taifa vitabu vinajaa vumbi wanasoma Wanafunzi wa Sekondari tu, tena wale wanaojiandaa na Mitihani.

    Ni aibu kubwa sana Mtanzania wa leo amekuwa ni mwingi wa Hoja za ubishi huku akiwa mvivu wa masomo hata usomaji wa magazeti umekuwa tabu, usomaji wa hadithi za simulizi pia tabu!
