I partially agree to what she is saying however, I don't think it is possible to invent the wheel again. Although East African designers have just woken up, but i think they are doing their best. There is a room to improve though. About inventing new designs, it is not easy!!! I don't agree that there is a place in this planet where someone can teach you to invent something. You learn the basics then you go and try to replicate what you have learnt. If you are lucky enough then you can one day invent your own design. Look at what Japanese are doing in terms of manufacturing cars. They copied from the west long time ago c 1950s and made their cars look better. They even introduced new models.
