ReplyDeleteOOOh waoh I feel proud for this institution being in Tanzania and built by our own money from tax payers of united republic of Tanzania. However, I wanna just to remind responsible authorities and other stakeholders on few issues that
ReplyDelete1 Good infrastructures like that should go hand in handle with the good output (Good quality education ) and to come up with good scientist and engineers who can real make difference in that arena and contribute significantly in addressing specific problems and challenges facing African countries and Tanzania in particular. This can only be achieved through high commitment and dedication of scientist themselves (students and faculty), proper allocation of research funds, commitment and support of the ruling Government bcoz one author wrote a book titled "it is dangerous to be right when government is wrong". We are lucky our president supports development of science and technology.
2. Maintenance and repair of those good infrastructures should be our habit. Experience shows maintenance and repair is not our habit especially in public buildings
3. Users (students, researchers faulty, visitors) please take note that elevation of those good infrastructures has big implication to tax payers money we sacrificed our "blue band in our daily bread" to save money used to build this institution. therefore it is our sincere hope that you will be a part and parcel making the built structures stay long for the coming generations and your contribution of your researches in addressing society problems will be realized soon no later
