Awadh Tamim knocked out Kenyan Tom Okusi to grab the East and Central African heavyweight title in a boxing match in Dar es Salaam at the weekend.
Tamim heavy jabs sent the Kenyan to the canvas after one minutes and two seconds of the first round in the scheduled 10 round fight.
Hussein Chiwa also won national super welterweight title after beating defending champion Selemani Said by KO in the ninth round.
Benson Mwakyembe defeated Kenyan Mustafa Noah by KO in the eighth round in super middleweight as Karama Nyilawila beat Joseph Odhiambo of Kenya by KO in middle weight.
Mada Maugo knocked out Ramadhani Miyeyusho in the second round in the welterweight.
Joseph Marwa won by 80-78 points against Kenyan Chris Serengo in the heavyweight.
Shaban Tampa won on 79-65 points against Kenyan Raymond Ochieng in heavyweight.
Ezekiel Mwaiwega won by KO in a bantam weight fight against Ajabu Salum.
