Internatioanal actor Mark Curry, famously known as Mr. Cooper, is coming to Tanzania on 19th in his first and only ‘stand-up comedy’ show in Dar es Salaam at the Diamond Jubilee VIP hall on 19 October from 7pm onwards.
He is best known as the star of the ABC-TV hit sitcom "Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper," which is Africa’s most famous and longest running TV sitcom—making Mark Curry one of the most recognised U.S. comedians in Africa
The tour and show are organized by JaSaab Marketing (TZ) Limited and sponsored by Clear Channel, Monier 2000 Ltd, Clouds FM and Emirates Airlines. ”Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” can be viewed through DSTV, and here in Tanzania and it continues to air in syndication with ITV.
Actor Mark Curry in 2002 was the headliner of SOUL COMEDY in South Africa which elevated the stand up comedy industry in South Africa and now he wishes to broaden the comedic base in East Africa. His October show is a golden chance for the comedy lovers as it is the first time for an international comedian performs in the country.
Tickets for the show are Tsh50,000 in advance and Tsh60,000 at the door. Tickets can be purchased from this Saturday at selected locations to include; NOVEL IDEA BOOKSTORE, AFIRCAN ART, NEW WORLD CIMEMA, Monier 2000, COLOSSEUM FITNESS CENTRE and MEDITERRANEO HOTEL.
