Kigogo! iyo ilikua sherehe kwa VIJUGO.
ReplyDeletepoleni mliojeruhiwa,Mungu mkubwa hakuna alietutoka.amen.
ReplyDeletepoleni sana mliojeruhiwa!but iam worried of the driving skills of the majority of drivers in tanzania especially in dar es salaam. as the number of vehicles indreases, so does the number of new inexperienced drivers. Thus, it is good to consider a few things that any driver can do to avoid accidents:-
ReplyDeleteDRIVE DEFENSIVELY! Stay alert, watch for potential road hazards ahead and behind and anticipate the moves of other drivers-including wrong moves.since a large %ge of collisions result from one vehicle following another too closely, the wise driver will MAINTAIN A SAFE DRIVING DISTANCE btn his vehicle and others.
be ware of blind spots and distractions.Turn your head to see what is happening around you, and do not rely solely on mirrors.Avoid distractions while driving, dont multitask e.g talking on the phone.
make sure that your vehicle is in good condition.brakes, tires should should have plenty of thread to reduce possibility od sliding, sufficient tire pressure, intact seat belts.
drive your car according to conditions. wet roads affect stopping distances and steering ability, for night driving headlights should be in good condition and SPEED SHOULD BE LOWERED!!
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDTION,before setting out ask yourself if you are in proper condition and mood to drive. Fatigue can dull your mind and slow responses. make sure that you avoid anger, anxiety and excitiment, because these emotions affect driving habits and can lead to unwise decisions and even violent road rage.illnesss, injuries can hamper a person's ability to drive safely. alcohol, certain drugs or medications can also affect driver's reactions!
i hope this can do better if not neglected, and can save your life and someone's life too. note that is not a must that you should always drive,in some case it may be prudent to forgo the trip or to get someone else to drive you!
