Last Thursday Nonini shot the video to his 4th single fom the Godfather Album called Genge Love which he features Lady Bee. The video was shot at a very prime location in village market at the Luxurious Tribe Hotel!
Rumour has it that Nonini proposed at Lady Bee on the video set as they were shooting the dinner scene at the penthouse of Tribe! The Godfather has been interviewed on several occasions denying that the two are dating well well…
Asked why the Tribe Hotel for his video this time round? Here is what the Godfather had to say…
“Whenever i shoot my music videos its also about selling our beautiful country as a Tourist Destination not only for people coming from abroad but also for Kenyans as Local Tourists eg Kadhaa was shot in Watamu showing off the beauty of ur Coastal Region.
"I had previously attended several functions at the Tribe and one thing that always got my attention was the Interior Decor of the Luxurious Hotel its simply Art at its best so what a better way to combine the two forms of Art….Genge and Tribe and since my new single is a love song, there was no better setting other than the Tribe for the Genge Love video.
“The management was kind enough to allow me to use the Hotel which i thank them for that and also they have shown support to a Kenyan Musician proving that co-orprates are heavily embrassing the Kenyan Urban Music (GENGE)”.

ReplyDeleteit seemz like this video will be better than kadhaa
ReplyDeleteWhy wearing a trouser of Robert Pershing Wadlow while you Ping Ping?
ReplyDeletei do care!
ReplyDeleteI concur with the first anonymous comment. Exactly, who cares? Kwanza is this Nonini even known in Tz?
ReplyDeleteI am not hating, but Kenyan songs are just full of nonsense lyrics and lots of booming beats. It is for this reason that Kenyan music is not that big in TZ but bongo flava is big in KE.
Michuzi bwana, halafu unawasaidia kupromo hiyo 'kabila hotel'. Ili iweje? Usirudie, wadau hatutaki
Is he important??
