PAULO KAMAU, TAIFA STARS' CHEERLEADER!
You have exploited a Tanzanian forum, and insulted THEM, without blows or retaliation. This should serve as lesson to you, Mjomba Kamau, and the rest, that Tanzanians believe on the power of civility, serenity, and freedom of expression regardless of one’s geographical origin, political affiliation or social status.

We believe on equality, and great respect for one’s opinion; some of the basic human liberties many of our neighbors are in dire need of today, in Kenya particularly.
In spite of your loose tongue, as good neighbors, we have forgiven you. And we pray that one day may the light of hope shine upon you, so that the yokes of oppression drudging you be lifted in the name of freedom.

Your country, Kenya, and your Alma matter, the British higher learning institution that trained you, expected more than the crude, obscene, and undiplomatic ranting that you have unleashed towards your southern neighbors. I hope they are not regarding you as a disgrace and an exceptional case which seems to be the case, as opposed to being a silent goodwill ambassador.
Yes, Tanzanians needs to be told the TRUTH, however they are not taking lightly the truth from an odd partner who is a classical example of profound arrogance and ignorance. They are taking as an insult the truth from a neighbor whose house is in disarray and magical mantras to transformation rely on hatred and tribalism! Yours even though coded with the truth, seems to be disdain and belligerently minded.
Mjomba Paulo, it will be unreasonable for me to offer counter-argument or rebuttal to your ambiguity or fallacious reasoning, depicting Tanzanians as funny creatures to have ever lived.

I am therefore, refraining from disjoining your flawed thoughts, as you lack a premise under which your argument is based, and would not reciprocate by describing Kenyans as drunkards, unruly, rude, greedy, and self centered human beings to have ever lived. It is not within our character to do so, we believe on civility and mutual respect for one another. We prefer the diplomatic approach of expressing our opinions without offending our neighbors. That is how our country and our higher learning institutions trained us
Even though our forward march towards economic and social transformation, are progressively slower, we believe that within a few years, we will, as a society, see a different nation whose priorities are straight and well defined, once the stumbling blocks are uprooted – poor leaders are voted out-.

Therefore, Mjomba Paulo, you need to slow down, sit back and ponder the bitter truth that lies in Kibera, Kariobangi, Mathare, Kawangware slums, and elsewhere within the Republic of Kenya. Give thought to the Goldenberg, and Anglo-Leasing corruption scandals and their impacts on the Kenya Poorest.
Think of the post election ethnic cleansing around the country, think of central Kenyans owning half of the country, yet young kids – Chokoraas- deprived of their basic right to education are being trained to be killing machines in the streets of Nairobi.

Don’t forget the tribal Mungiki little army causing havoc in your country. We can’t mention these uncanny social vices, and neither can we challenge your government because that is not our call. Tanzanians have compelling, and serious issues of our own to worry about, before popping in our noses into Kenyan Affairs!
We respect your national integrity
We don’t call people crazy, or deranged when they ran loose unleashing mindboggling words that could disturb peace, we let their deeds and words determine who they are. Since not all humans are rational in their reasoning, we must therefore, assume however, that, those irrational thinkers will not see reason in your verbal assault. As such, many are compelled to label you a deviant, weird and deranged single man to have ever invaded Tanzania.
Mjomba Kamau. I will, on the other hand, describe you as a courageous, and a brilliant comedian who knows how to deliver blows with humor. You have irked Tanzanians by touching on a very sensitive part of their lives, and challenged them to revamp their strategies and priorities; maybe you need to pass the same message to the Kenyan regime in order to balance the equation, since both countries share similar problems.
John Mashaka does not oppose the East African ratification; he only voiced his opinion on the hidden cost of the treaty. He urged prudence, caution and careful walk into the treaty with LAND completely out of the question.

Mr. Kamau, we are all the same in many aspects, we are sheer circumstantial victims of poverty, tyranny, and mismanagement of natural resources. We share a common problem of the greedy and inept leadership, and the onus to shape our destiny lies in yours and mine hands.
Please desist from camouflaging your failures into ideological purity in which Kenyans with their bulging thorax are depicted as the better breed. Let’s learn from one another on how some of the common problems can be addressed, instead of dwelling on name calling, and nonsensical matters.
Let’s be thinkers for the common good of our people, Mjomba.
Much to your dislike, the match between the Taifa-Stars and the Brazilians is on. The outcome will determine the strategic gain/loss on the part of Tanzanians. As a citizen, I can only wish my country best of luck, hoping this turns out to be a golden opportunity for the country to stand tall amongst the nations, gaining back not only the millions of dollars paid, but also the prestige the country deserves.

Hopefully Tanzania will outscore Brazilians 3-1. Mujomba Paulo, let me sum it up by suggesting that, maybe you need to approach Italians, Argentina, or even Brazilians for a friendly match, and Tanzanians will support you!
And by the way, Mr. Kamau, I do hope you, along with thousands of other Kenyans, have tickets for the match only hours away, and ready to cheer...

I would like to tell Mjomba Kamua and his followers that since Tanzania Football Federation announced that Brazil Soccer Team will play Tanzania Team, The CNN International, arguably global biggest news house, has aired this news several times. This can tell Kamau how this soccer match is important for Tanzania publicity in the world. Does Kamua know how much an advert is paid to be aired by CNN International? This match has been on CNN international without a fee just because Brazil is a big soccer team; therefore, everyone who likes soccer would be interested to know what Brazil soccer team is doing. So, in the process Tanzania as country get the opportunity to be known around the world for good.

BARUA YA WAZI KWA RAIS JAKAYA MRISHO KIKWETE:
ReplyDelete==============
Rais
Comrade Mashaka,
ReplyDeleteYou've aptly captured the views most Tanzanians have, especially with regard to senseless and irresponsible comments such as Ankal Kamau's.
You see, for us, who have grown in both era's --the Ujamaa and the current Free Market economy eras -- can judiciously tell the difference. While the first term made us into what we are today, Tanzanians!! the current term has served to open the country to globalization. And, as it is preached worldwide, the effects of globalization, are two-fold --inward and outside looking. For the inward looking effects, Tanzanians have had an opportunity to see the world, just like their counterparts accross the border in Kenya. There's no fooling one another about issues and phenomena in the world.
So when Kamau claims Tanzanians are poor, we are concerned to ask, what does our brother from Kenya imply. Like Mashaka noted, does Kamau know where is Kibera? the biggest slumcity in Africa. Has he ever gone beyond Nairobi, does he know in East Africa, Kenya is the most fence country --every piece of land is owned by somebody! It comes as no surprise that Kamau might actually have no land.
This is a different era. You cannot cow down Tanzanians by hurling insults at them. We know what you're up to...but Tanzanians are better than that. We're building our country, slowly, carefully, but progressively.
Mungu Ibariki Tanzania

ReplyDeleteI don't believe this person who call himself Kamau is really kenyan.Kamau's article had poor english of below average kenyan. Moreover, is not typical of kenyan, tanzanian or ugandan to put tutsi in the picture; as far as i know this tribe is irrelevant to original east africans. Therefore, what is purported to be a kenyan's article was just publicity stunt of those who enjoy fame and with a far political goal.
ReplyDeleteMR. PRESIDENT JOHN MASHAKA, YAANI TANZANIA INGEKUWA MBALI SANA UNGEZALIWA MAPEMA NA KUCHUKUA UONGOZI BAADA YA NYERERE KUNG'ATUKA. ILA BADO TUNA MATUMAINI KWAMBA MUDA BADO UPO NA UTAKAPOCHUKUA HATAMU YA KUIONGOZA NCHI MABADILIKO YATAKUWEPO, NADHANI MAMBO YA UTANI TUKIHACHANA NAYO KIZAZI CHETU, SHAYO NA MASHAKA WAPEWE KUIONGOZA HII NCHI, HAWA VIJANA WANA VIPAJI WA AINA YAKE, MASHAKA NJOO KURA TUNAKUPA IKULU TUNAKUPELEKA. ReplyDeleteBeing wise is not something you can learn in school or teach one to be, its something you are brought up with. When you were brought up to believe everything the British did to you was just and belief that your other country man is inferior on the basis of his tribal decent, you were doomed to kill that country man.
ReplyDeleteA wise man will also refrain from arguing with a fool, because no one will know the difference. That will make the wise man and the foolish neighbor look foolish in the eyes of another wise man. Unfortunately, the other wise man is all other Tanzanians who folk to this blog to reconnect with our beloved country and not see wise men turn into fools.
Coincidentally, watching a wise man and a fool go at each other could turn you into a fool by allowing yourself to be entertained by their foolishness.
Lastly, giving platform to fools to portray their foolishness also could turn you into a fool. Michuzi you are way better than that, don't let this blog turn into that foolish platform.
Stay wise and let us all be wise.
Hi i think you all getting out of control, just coz one "kenyan" talked some bullshit dont mean we all support him, how sure he is a kenyan? Might be just propaganda. When will africans learn we all brothers. You arguing on some bullshit topic that really getting out of control. Im kenyan and truly love every one regardless of creed, colour or nationality. I have lived both countries, what happens in nairobi, happens in dar, we all have slums, majority of people are poor, what happens in kibera happens in tandale. MOVE ON. If tanzanians want to play brazil let them do it, so what. if you talk about goldenberg, what would you say about BOT scandal, if you talk about malaya in k street, what about the ones at corner bar, AFRICA IS ALL THE SAME, guys lets focus on issues that built our nations, like eradication of diseases, education etc. EAST AFRICA COOPERATION is in deep shit coz every country doesnt respect each other. If one person can create such a buzz and fall into that trick, If kamau talked bullshit its kamau not all KENYANS. Peace im out!
