We hereby kindly request you, the Tanzanian CEOs, to participate in the following event:

The East African Business Council (EABC) is promoting a region-wide CEO HIV Testing Day in the capital cities of all five EAC Partner States (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda).

The goal of CEO’s and Business Leader’s public testing is to influence more Business Leaders and their peers to take action on the issue of HIV and AIDS management in the workplace and provide an example for their workforce. By getting tested publicly (though the results remain private and confidential) you can be a role model for your employees and both reinforce the message that knowing one’s health status is an empowering experience and encourage other business leaders to take action against HIV and AIDS at the workplace.

This one-day event will be attended by business leaders and their spouses, workplace HIV and AIDS coordinators and peer coordinators, development partners, Voluntary Counselling and Testing service providers (VCT) and government health officials. A small health and business fair allows the participants to showcase their efforts against HIV in the world of work.
