Dar es Salaam, Thursday, February 24, 2011: Continuously committed to enhance brand preference through driving affordability and innovation, Airtel Tanzania has today announced the launch of Airtel Flava, the first and only Music-on-Demand phone based service in the country.
This new value added service is an ultra-modern service that makes it easier for Airtel customer to get music into phone, and interact with it once it’s there.
“With Airtel Flava, customers can now choose the music they want and listen to from their Airtel phone anywhere, anytime by calling 15565 and select the music of choice!”, said Airtel Tanzania’s Brand Communications Manager, Kelvin Twissa.
He added that, with varieties of music categories to choose from, Airtel flava provides a wide choice for every music taste!
“Whether you like today’s current hits, or prefer hits from the past, you will find just what you are looking for with our selection of Bongo Flava, Hip Hop, Rhumba, Taarab, Gospel and Oldies”, further said Twissa.
On his part, Airtel Tanzania’s Value Added Services Manager, Frank Semaganga, commented that customers shall be able to dedicate any song to any favourite Airtel number and at the same, be able to set the time and day when the dedication should be sent to the intended customer.
“Most importantly, during while dedicating the song, Airtel customer is enabled to record a personal message up to ten seconds which will be played prior to the dedicated song”, said Semaganga.
Airtel Flava is cost-free for the first month and commercial-free streaming music service, is ideal for one who is busy working or socializing and would want good music playing in the background for hours.
Airtel Flava is an addition of various available series of value added services provided by the company, including Airtel Portal, the best of the web on the phone for News, Sport, Information, Ring tones, Wallpapers, Video clips, Games, Entertainment and so much more.
