Waziri Mkuu Mh. Mizengo Pinda leo amezindua tawi la kisasa na kubwa kuliko yote nchini la Benki ya NMB jijini Dar es Salaam na kuzitaka benki zote nchini kubuni mikakati ya kutoa huduma bora na kupunguza foleni kwenye matawi.

Alisema kuwa umefika muda sasa mteja akae kwenye tawi la benki kwa dakika kumi tu au chini ya hapo na aweze kupata huduma zote.

Katika hatua nyingine, tatizo sugu la kuchelewesha kwa mishahara ya wafanyakazi wa serikali sasa liko mbioni kuwa historia kufuatia mikakati inayofanywa na Wizara ya Fedha na Uchumi na Benki ya NMB kuhakikisha kuwa wafanyakazi wote wa serikali watalipwa mishahara yao kila ifikapo tarehe 23 ya kila mwezi.

Hayo yalibainika wakati Waziri Mkuu alipokuwa akifungua tawi la NMB Bank House jijini Dar es Salaam.

Tawi hilo ni tawi kubwa kuliko matawi yote ya NMB nchini na linatarajiwa kuwa ni kioo cha benki hiyo kwa kutoa huduma mahususi (premium banking) kwa ajili ya serikali na wateja wakubwa kwenye ofisi zilizo kwenye gorofa zisizopungua tatu.

Tawi hilo pia litakuwa na baadhi ya huduma za

ziada ambazo matawi mengine hayajaanza kuzitoa.

    thats a good achievement by nmb.big up for the workdone.myself i have been at the mordern branch and for sure its amazing.you may feel you are not in tanzania for sometime while in the Nyumba ya benki a.k.a Bankhouse.if all banks in our country will be mordernized to such look,we hope we gonna be having what we expect in a bank which is more than just good customer services but also good physical evidence as marketers say.THE CHALLENGE REMAINS TO NMB IS ORGANIZATION.......THEIR SERVICE PERSONNEL ie STAFF DONT HAVE UNIFORMS AND GOOD LOOKING i.e GROOMING IS STILL WHAT THEY HAVE TO DEAL WITH.I THINK YOU GUYS NMB YOU HAVE GOT TO LEARN TO YOUR COMPETITOR CRDB....THEY WERE BLACK SUITS WOOOOOOW...THEY LOOK PROFESSIONAL FOR SURE.WORK IT OUT NMB FOR YOU TO WIN US

    nmb congrats, but i will like to advice one thing the services should be updated too, being in the queau for almost 2hrs its really something that u should work on it,customer services,,oh god when u come to window of a teller its kind of whats going to come from his/her mouth,,harsh words and hard face,,,hope ur going to change those,,and make a newer nmb not only a building but ''services''.
