Actor Will Smith last night became the latest celebrity to not fall to his death near the Kauri Cliffs resort in Northland.
Stories flooded the internet yesterday stating the Men In Black star had died while filming in New Zealand.
The false report comes in the week Outrageous Fortune actress Robyn Malcolm didn't plummet from the same cliffs, near Matauri Bay.
Internet hoaxes have plagued the five-star resort, located 17km north of Kerikeri.

In 2006, Tom Hanks didn't die there, while two years later, Tom Cruise didn't meet a similar fate.
The fictitious curse also ensnared Jeff Goldblum and Orlando Bloom.
The first fake story was later traced to fakeawish.com, a site that serves as a fake news generator and allows users to plug a celebrity's name into made-up stories.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to read that ma M.I.B is not dead because ever since I head this news I tried to open various celebrity websites but neither of them revealed his death which made me to conclude that it was a Hoax story,Thanx Ankal for ur effort to update us on this rummer.
