Hello Miriam Rose, where within Dar Es Salaam exactly can I get the real cooked CHRISTMAS PILAU as it seen in the picture posted here with?
ReplyDeleteKakini kweli Pilau LA SHRIMPS sijawahi liona ni wapi hapo bongo au picha KANYABOYA
ReplyDeletePilau sio chakula cha kirisimasi. Tafuta kitimo mle!!
ReplyDeleteI learned to prepare this from my mother and my mothers friends from Ilala, Dar es Salaam. There are people who can prepare unbelievable meals from areas known as Uswazi. I added raisins and named it Christmas Pilau since it is sweet and good for CHristmas. We need to give our recipes names like other countries instead of un-attractive names that we have. If you remove raisins, you will have Cashew nut Pilau, which is common in Uswazi.
ReplyDeleteA good cook has to be creative.
ReplyDeleteThank you Miriam Rose , can you plase give me or us an exact geographical address say eating out place as you say in Ilala to get this meals?
