Zanzibar District Veterinarian Officer administers de-worming treatment to local cattle as part of Veterinarian Community Assistance Program, (VET-CAP) conducted in Zanzibar by veterinarians from the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) from July 14-23, 2012.
Zanzibar Community Animal Health Workers and U.S. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) veterinarians conduct classroom training as well as hands-on field experiences in which 2,540 local animals throughout Zanzibar were examined and treated. The training and field work was part of Veterinarian Community Assistance Program, (VET-CAP) conducted in Zanzibar by veterinarians from the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) from July 14-23, 2012.
