A Historic African Tour for Namibian Musician eleMOTHO” (15 March to 15 June 2013: Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Mauritania, France, Ethiopia, Cape Verde, Niger, Congo Brazzaville, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eritrea, Djibouti, Sudan, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Equatorial, Chad, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Angola, South Africa and Namibia) 

Namibian singer/songwriter, guitarist Elemotho is the artist to look out for in 2013. Having toured internationally since 2006, performing in well-known international music festivals from Awesome Afrika (Durban), to Veranos de la Villa (Madrid), Wasser Musik Festival (Berlin) to Zanzibars Sauiti Za Busara, and sharing stage with the likes of UB 40, Johnny Clegg, Ismael Lo, Vusi Mahlasela, Busi Mlhongo, Habib Koite,  Salif Keita, Erica Badú, The Wailers, Yossour N´ Dour and Dobet Gnahoré to mention but a few, this son of the Kalahari has earned himself recognition in both, the underground and mainstream music scene. 

After many years of hard work, and with three albums under his name, last year saw this Namibian Ambassador receive the RFI Discovery Awards, from more than 500 participants from all over Africa, Pacific and Indic Ocean. As part of this prize, Elemotho will embark on a promotional Tour of 24 countries, 30 shows in 3 months, putting Namibian music on the African Map. He will be going from East to West Africa as well as Southern Africa, and including a special concert in the French Capital, Paris.

Elemotho will be accompanied by his four piece band, Ermelinda Thataone on vocals and shakers, Polina Loubnina on the flute, Samuel Batola on guitar and vocals and Moses Saize on percussions. With a repertoire of meditative melodies, messages for our modern times, Elemotho promises to not only move your feet but also your mind…for he wants to hit with words and chords that carry a power beyond bullets and hunger...Ke Nako Afrika Tour 2013 is sure to spread the sound of the Kalahari to ears across the African continent and beyond.
