Shine A Light is a group founded by KCMC (Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College)students in June 2010 aimed at helping children who are less fortunate (orphans ,street children etc ) achieve their dreams, have a chance at life and a bright future. WEBSITE : www.shine-a-light.org

In commemorating the day of the african child shine a light in collaboration with the community and pediatric department conducted a pediatric screening event at kifaru village in mwanga on the 30th of JUNE 2013!Targeting children aged one year to seven years . a total number of 408 children were screened !!!
