On Tuesday 13 August 2013 Minister of State, President's Office (Social Relations and Coordination) Hon. Stephen Wasira was the chief guest at a dinner hosted by the CEOs Roundtable of Tanzania that took place at the Hyatt Regency, the Kilimanjaro Hotel in Dar es Salaam. Minister Wasira discussed the Government's "Big Results Now" (BRN) initiative and the execution of the five year development plan.
BRN initiative is a comprehensive system of development implementation described as a “fast-track people-centered growth ‘marathon’ that focuses on six priority areas articulated in the Tanzania National Development Vision 2025 namely, energy and natural gas, agriculture, water, education, transport and resource mobilisation. The BRN initiative aims at adopting new methods of working under specified time frame for delivery of the step-change required.
