Today is eight years, since you left
Oh! How time flies, no one can mend
Like a bat of an eyelid, suddenly you went
We do not forget you, nor do we intend.
We think of you often and will to the end.
Gone and forgotten by some you may be,
but dear to our memory you ever will be.
You're not forgotten, father dear, nor ever shall you be.
As long as life and memory last,
We, your children, grand children and inlaws,
shall remember you always.
We thank our Heavenly Father, for the gift of your life,
Shared so selflessly with our Mama, your wife
We take courage in your unwavering faith,
you had in Jesus Christ our Saviour,
Our solace lies in your favourite verse,
From the Book of Romans 8:31-
“If God be for us,
Who can be against us?”
