TOUAREG as it’s official car

THE Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany has launch the new model of the Volkswagen TOUAREG sport utility vehicles as part of the Embassy’s mobility fleet. It has been established.
Speaking to invited dignitaries during the official handover ceremony at Umoja House in Dar es Salaam, the Charge d’ Affaires from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Hans Koeppel said that Volkswagen is one of the largest automobile company in the world, in Tanzania and underlined that German products are known worldwide for high class technology and innovative engineering.
“The embassy of Germany is promising to provide high quality products into Tanzanian market and while assuring Tanzanians to see the new model of Volkswagen in the street,”
The Managing Director of Alliance Autos Wayne McIntosh pointed out to the newly Volkswagen Touareg during the official launching and handing over ceremony to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dar.
“The Touareg redefines the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) featuring extraordinary luxury, exceptional versatility and technological advances that are simply ahead of their time,” he said.
Koeppel further said that the innovating of another model of Volkswagen is a clear picture of the spirit of cooperation between Tanzania and Germany and mutual respect between the two countries.
On his part the Managing Director of Alliance Auto, Wayne McLntosh felt honored that the TOUAREG was chosen as the official Embassy car while introducing the product to Tanzanian market.
“It provides a unique combination of four-wheel drive, off road capabilities, sustainable energy efficiency and high driving performance,”
“Not only winning prizes as “Best Luxury SUV” and “Sport/Utility of the year, the TOUAREG also introduces success and experience of Rally Dakar-winners onto the road,” He underscored.
He said that in the coming months, the stylish, sophisticated and refined second generation of the TOUAREG will conquer the streets of Dar es Salaam.
McLntosh explained further that Volkswagen has opened its showroom in Tanzania in collaboration with Alliance Auto in March 2013 and is aiming to provide Tanzanians with high quality engineering “Made in Germany’ offering the TOUAREG Amarok pick-up and Tiguan.
