AIESEC University of Dar es Salaam, is a local branch of AIESEC, an international leadership development organization which runs a global exchange program, entirely driven by students and recent graduates. 

 AIESEC was established over 60 years ago and is present in over 1700 Universities in over 124 countries across the world. What's more, since its foundation, AIESEC has been entirely youth-led. This means every single year, new leadership teams are elected from the membership at every level of the international association.



This means we have over 1,000,000 alumni who've been through an 'AIESEC Experience' many of whom have gone on to do incredible things. Our alumni include leaders within business, global politicians and even a Nobel Peace Laureate. 

 The organization works towards the vision of “peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential.” The main channel to do this is by providing young students the opportunity to experience living and working in a different culture to understand and appreciate diversity, whilst developing both personally and professionally. 

 AIESEC in Tanzania has sent out more than 300 students in the last 15 years since establishment. These students have worked as volunteers and professionals in over 124 countries worldwide. Students who embark on an exchange with us have a multicultural experience (Global Mindset), self development (they gain skills and competencies that are useful for their career life) and become more social responsible.
