On the 18th of December 2013, the State of Qatar celebrated its National Day, an historical event which was commemorated in Dar es Salaam in cooperation with the Qatar Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and other distinguished guests. The event took place at the Hyatt Regency (Kilimanjaro) Hotel, with Guest of Honor H.E. Ambassador Rajabu Gamaha, Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
In commemorating the Qatar National Day, H.E. Ali Hassan Mwinyi (3rd left), former President of the United Republic of Tanzania along with Ambassador Jassim Mohamed Mubarak Abdullah Darwish (3d right) of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, and Dr. Salim Ahmed Salim (2nd right), former Prime Minister of Tanzania and former General Secretary of Organization of African Union (OAU) assisted in cutting a special cake baring flags of Tanzania and Qatar, symbolizing the strong bilateral ties between the two countries.

ReplyDeleteNi kweli, hiyo sio bendera ya Tanzania. Lakini kwa viongozi wetu kwa kutokfuatilia mambo ya protocol kiundani ama kutokujua mambo, wanauza sura zao bila kuona kuwa tunonyeshwa kupinduliwa juuchini kibendera uhuru wetu.
