H.E.
Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, President of the United Republic of Tanzania
has sent a condolence message to H.E. François Hollande, President of the Republic of
France following the terror attack which occurred on 13th November,
2015 in Paris.
The message reads as follows:
“Your
Excellency François Hollande,
President of the Republic of France,
Paris,
FRANCE
I
have received with great shock and sadness the news of the terror attack
against French citizens and football fans in Paris that occurred on the 13th
of November 2015.
In
this difficult time, I wish to express, on
behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania and indeed
on my own behalf, our deepest sympathies to you and through you to the families
of the bereaved, the People of France and the Government of France.
My Government joins all other peace loving nations
in strongly condemning these heinous attacks that claimed hundreds of innocent lives.
On this sad moment, we stand in solidarity with you, the Government and the
People of France.
As you mourn the deceased, I wish the bereaved
strength and solace throughout this mourning period. I also wish those injured
a speedy recovery. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you all.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurance of my
highest consideration”.
