Hello, 
My name is Andrea and I was born 1963 in Magdeburg, GDR. My birth name was Andrea Uhlig, daugther of Roland and Inge-Lore, sister of Ralf-Michael. when I was a school-child, in the mid seventies, our family often visited by a woman from Dar es salaam/ Tanzania. 
Her name was Ndeana Mamkwe.
She was there in the GDR to continuing education as teacher I think. .... Now I am looking for the woman and I found the name of Ndeana Mamkwe in your blog. 
Is she your mother or another related person from you ??
As I could see, were you in Germany, maybe can speak/ write german and you know something about Ndeana and can help me to greet her.

    Hello Andrea, wie geht's? I lived in West German in the late 80's, when the DDR was about to end. I will see if I can help you trace Ndeana. That name sounds like it's a person from Arusha or Moshi in Tanzania. Auf Wiedersehen! Allan
