The Global Peace Foundation Tanzania in collaboration with Tony Inspirational Talk organized a dialogue with the theme “The role of Tanzanian Youth in Peace Building” on 5th May 2016, at the New Montessori College, Mabibo branch, in Dar es salaam.
The healthy session brought together some 50 youth from the New Montessori College and neighboring college premises, who discussed and came up with a way forward on how they were going to preserve the existing peace and stability in Tanzania.
Opening of the dialogue, Global Peace Foundation Tanzania representative, Ms Hilda Ngaja said the economic growth of Tanzanian youth depends on the peace of the country.
Ms Ngaja said that the existing peace in the country gave youth no room for excuses on their personal development, insisting that  without it and economic stability, youth might  involve themselves  in radicalization and violence extremism that ultimately leads to disruption of peace.
The Director of Tony Inspirational Talk, Anthony Luvanda inspired the youth to strive for personal responsibilities on their daily activities,  decisions and behaviours with the view to avoiding  the possibility of them engaging on issues of radicalization.
He told them to be proactive and think beyond employment for their personal development. Luvanda asserted that the youth are a group which can be easily brainwashed because of their economic status. He also advised them to practically implement their entrepreneurship ideas so as to  stabilize their economic status.
On the other hand, the Montessori College Principle, Denis Jonas applauded the Global Peace Foundation Tanzania on their role of educating the youth in sustaining and promoting peace in Tanzania.

He also said that it was high  time now for the youth to accept responsibilities, work hard, learn more in order to cope with the world challenges, calling them to stand up and  speak up, as well as offer their  opinion on the way forward towards that goal, rather than constantly complaining while engaging in the blame-game.
