ONE THE INCREDIBLE – Rap / HIPHOP
One is a talented independent rapper, who has been working in the industry for a number of years. Harry Harrison Kaale, known by his stage name as One The Incredible, was born on the 11th of June 1988 in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. One the Incredible is an emcee, rapper, hiphop artist. He is also a producer and beatmaker.
ZE SPIRITS – afrofusion
Ze Spirits Band is a group of young talented Tanzanian musicians from Bagamoyo, 20 to 26 years of age. The group has been playing together since they were about 7-10 years old. They grew up as apprentices of singer and songwriter, Vitalis Maembe. At the moment some of them are studying music at TaSuBa (Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni Bagamoyo) in Bagamoyo and others at DCMA (Dhow Countries Music Academy) in Zanzibar.
MZUNGU KICHAA – Bongo Flava
Debuting in 2009 with his album Tuko Pamoja, Mzungu Kichaa and his band Bongo Beat have created a unique style of live Bongo Flava which has taken them around the world. Mzungu Kichaa and Bongo Beat have toured Europe 7 times. Their most recent official videos include ‘Twajiachia’ and ‘Relax Your Mind’. ‘Relax Your Mind’ features Dar es Salaam as their backdrop, and is the first release by Mzungu Kichaa in English.
