This is to request donations for two great causes in Mbeya Region- health and education- as pursued and promoted by two important institutions- Igogwe Hospital and Teofilio Kisanji University, respectively.
Igogwe Hospital
Igogwe Hospital celebrates its 50th birthday-Diamond Jubilee- this year, fifty years of sterling health services to people from all over Mbeya Region and beyond. The management and Diamond Jubilee Committee of the hospital plan to use the Jubilee as a springboard to enable the hospital to serve its patients even better by raising funds to establish a mortuary, to buy an ambulance and build an X-ray theatre, to perform ward and Outpatient Department repairs and so on.
In total 373 million shillings is needed.
Please support this worthy cause by donating through Igogwe Hospital accounts at National Bank of Commerce Tukuyu Branch, IGOGWE HOSPITAL – JUBILEE NBC TUKUYU BRANCH A/C 038201127120 or at National Microfinance Bank IGOGWE HOSPITAL – at NMB TUKUYU BRANCH A/C 61403500064.
Teofilio Kisanji University (TEKU) on the other hand is a much younger institution but with notable achievements all the same. At 6 years old this year it already has 3 campuses- in Mbeya, Tabora and Dar-Es-Salaam; it is the first University in the United Republic of Tanzania to have developed an application through which students can receive examination results on their mobile phones, it is the first University in the United Republic of Tanzania to boast a woman as it’s Vice – Chancellor, it is the first University to be founded in Mbeya and it is busy establishing modern infrastructure to serve its student population. Hot on the foot of launching a modern library on its main campus in Mbeya in 2011, it completed 80% structural works of a female hostel on the same campus this year 2012.
These projects have been funded through fees; Tanzania Education Authority grants and competently managed and serviced commercial bank loans. 500 million shillings is needed to complete the hostel.
Please support the completion of the hostel by donating through TEKU accounts at National Microfinance Bank (account number 6226600021) or CRDB Bank (account number 0150065895000) or National Bank of Commerce (account number 016103003804) or Stanbic Bank (account number 0140015028101) or Commercial Bank of Africa (account number 0300786000).
Any queries regarding these requests will be happily answered.
Thanking you in advance for your kind generosity,
Yours truly,
Mpeli-G.E. Nsekela

ReplyDelete1:Which one between the two is top on your list of priorities?

Cheers for now.

ReplyDelete'Mens sana in copore sano' is a Latin saying that translates in English as 'A healthy mind in a healthy body'. We need to take care of both mind and body.
ReplyDelete......in corpore sano
ReplyDeleteTo my understanding the way you put this ads, I guess was suppossed to be in two to avoid confusion. As Mr David said, was confused which one between the two i.e.Igongwe and University should be given first priority. I suggest to revisit you ads, and make it as two separete entity requesting donation from the public. Though, both under the same Jubilee committee.
ReplyDeleteGreat comments and it seems it has been noted that the two are quite separate with separate accounts mentioned for those moved to donate. But at the same time 'mens sana in corpore sano' unites the two as health for both mind and body or a healthy mind in a healthy body. It so happens, that the author belongs to/is involved with,in one way or another, both institutions.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for your comments and thank you in anticipation for your contributions.
