Hello Wadau,

You cannot talk about economic progress without talking about education. Neither can you talk about employment without talking about the youth; the youth derive their skills to be employed or self employment from the very solid foundations of education, not the derelict educational system.

After in-depth analysis of Mr. Kigwangwala and Nchemba's bills presented before the parliament, I must admit that THERE IS A PROBLEM; A Serious problem in our educational system, and in our thinking. We need seriousness and serious public debate to see Tanzania move into a right direction instead of its current path. Youth unemployment is a serious issue and so is our education.

Education is the unrivaled propellant of human progress and development. Economic and social development in the modern knowledge-based world is inconceivable in a country that neglects the education of its people, especially the youth. With that in mind, I must combine both bills (Education and unemployment) presented by Mr. Hamisi Kigwangwala and Mr. Mwigulu Nchemba as one, in challenging the duo. Meaning in this context of economics, education and unemployment are inseparable and thus needs innovative minds.

I am without reservation challenging the two a public debate to navigate the way forward. I found so many loopholes in their respective bills presented before the parliament, and would rather have candid one-on-one public debate instead of prolonged written responses. I am ready for any form of debate anywhere and anytime. We can organize with BBC or any other neutral body to moderate our ECONOMICS and Educational Debate.

I remain optimistic for their swift responses within a week. Else will be forced to dissect each bill individually Thanks,

John Mashaka

  2. Concise analysis,

We need serious Education reforms so that to attain Economic prosperous and going with the time that we are.

There are five (5) vital aspects to put on point:

    1.GROWING MIDDLE INCOME CLASS:
We are in a conglomerate of the Growing Middle Income Class nations of the world, this means our population structure has shown tremendous growth of youth numbers, for which in our Tanzania these youths are 'mainly un employed', who are vibrant while does not have anymore the characteristic of purchasing power they deserve according to other economies are.

    2.RESOURCE FINDING:
With discovery of commercially viable Oil, Gas and diverse range of Minerals accross the East African Region, has made the economies most vibrant, for which the investments flow in and their fundings in this sector need also availability of the necessary workforce to sustain for various developments.

    3.RAPID RATE OF ECONOMIC GROWTH:
Definitely, with No.1 and No.2 above have contributed the rapid rate of economic growth that exceed the world average of 5% while Tanzania's economy is destined to grow at 7.1% this year 2013.
    (Source World Bank data http://www.worldbank.org/en/country/tanzania/overview)

    4.INHERITED TURBULENT:
Normally diversity matters do have the attitude or behaviour of transmissions ,as inflation in one country may proceed to the nearby country due to 'imported inflation' , while turbulent in one country may reslut in the neighbouring country, there fore vibrant youth population in Tanzania may come from vibrants accross the rest of the whole other 5 East African States as imported or transferred.

    5.POLICY, ANALYSIS AND CONTROL/SUPERVISION:
With No.1,No.2,No.3, and No.4 we need active policy drafted on the ground with strict control so that we may choose or decide on our destiny.

There fore the Education reforms needs to fulfil this phenomenon to be continuing for prolonged future so that to make things go smooth.

  9. Kwa nini hamtaki kujadili changamoto?

    Kwa nini mnaogopa changamoto?

    Kwa nini mnachukia watu 'CRITICAL'?

Yanajadiliwa masuala ya kitaalamu Kiingereza ndio rahisi kuelewesha, kama mnavyojua Kiswahili chetu wenyewe kinatupiga chenga, kama huelewi tumia Kamusi ili uelewe!

Tatizo kubwa hawa tunaowaona humu wakipinga kwa Maoni ni kuwa WAMEATHIRIWA NA ULE MSIMAMO WA 'ZIDUMU FIKRA SAHIHI'

  10. Man and Development, Man and challenge!

    Keep it John Mashaka!

Why are you so much scared on Economic dialogues?
