Tanzania’s beauty queen and Miss World Africa Nancy Sumary continued her dominance in world rankings after she was announced overall winner of the eighth edition of the Global Beauties Awards Bureau.
The Global Beauties Awards, also known as the 'Oscars' of beauty pageants, have reviwed the four most prestigious beauty pageants on the planet, and members of the Global Beauties Academy voted for the best in several categories, giving away 10 global and 66 continental awards.
Over 300 beauties who competed in Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Universe and Miss World 2005 had the chance to shine all over again or to finally have their qualities recognized.
Nancy was one of the top five girls in last year’s top 100 beauties survey conducted by the bureau which was announced yesterday, according to a statement issued yesterday.
The awards analysed each of the 310 international beauties who competed in four grand slam pageants namely Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Universe and Miss World where Nancy competed.
Nancy was placed in ten categories that were up for grabs under the Eighth Global beauties awards.
Nancy took the first positions in Personality, Interview and Stage Presence and finished second in Evening Gown, Face and third in Photogenic, Swimsuit to be the overall winner.
