On 25th of June 2008, the African Diplomatic Corps in Abu Dhabi UAE marked Africa Day by hosting a grand reception and a display of cultural and touristic attractions from their respective countries. Africa Day is marked every 25th of May of the year to mark the founding of the continental organization AU.
