Our beloved Cliff, seconds have turned into hours, hours into days, weeks and months and now comes the first anniversary after your passing on last September 23, 2007. The year without you has not been easy, we look out for you, we wait for your phone call, we look for your every caring, empathic and considerate smiling self and all we have are the memories of what you did for us when we needed you.
We know it was God’s wish that you go before us and we cannot question the Almighty in Heaven. As we have mourned your passing and will continue to do so we also celebrate that you now are with the Lord.
You are greatly missed by Fred your son, Mzee K K your father, your sisters Jessie, Gloria and Valerie, your brothers Rodney, Evans and Elvis. You are also greatly missed by your nephews Jarrtan and Brian and your niece Mangereza.
Your many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers in laws remember you with great affection. Your friends and neighbors all over keep mentioning you for the great man you were to them during your short sojourn in this world.
Your workmates in Project AFIKI Kisarawe have struggled to make sense of your passing but in all we realize how lucky we have been to have know such a fine young man that you were.
May you continue your rest in eternal peace; we loved you and will continue loving you but God loved you more.

ReplyDeleteCliff you were such a wonderful person kwa kweli things are not the same without you around. We miss you dearly, we miss joking with you every day at the office and your favorite word "mshkaji" and your love for jazz music. All in all we will forever cherish the time we spent with you. RIP
ReplyDeleteRIP Cliff. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow. What moves through us is a silence, a deep sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, I may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before I was ready to say good-bye, but little by little, I begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave me memories too beautiful to forget. You will always have a special place in my heart. RIP my best friend. I love you.
