Zambia Electricity Company (ZESCO) United FC from Zambia will be arriving in Dar es Salaam on Monday 22nd February. The team will be here for their pre season training.
ZESCO will be in the Country for a period of ten days during which they are set to play five friendly games with local Tanzanian teams including favourites yanga and Simba.
The team have expressed that they have long since been interested in coming to Tanzania and are looking forward to playing against Tanzanian teams. The trip will help strengthen relations between Tanzania and Zambia.
Zesco’s technical director Mr. Moffat Sakala who has been in the country since the 17th of February has viewed the infrastructures and facilities and is satisfied that the teams visit will be a successful one.

ZESCO United is a Zambian football club based in Ndola, playing in the top division in  that country's football. Their home stadium is Trade Fair Grounds.
They were the first Zambian team to qualify for the group stages of the CAF Champions league.They with Zanaco FC are regarded as the two richest clubs on the Zambian local scene thanks to the multi million sponsorship from the electricity company zesco.
They do not have a massive following like there copperbelt rivals Nkana or Muflira Wanderers.
