To Ankal Kamau and the likes...
After observing the above unfruitful match I am having doubts to its authenticity. Hmmm is it just me or is anybody out there thinking like me; that this whole fiasco of a so-called "Mr Kamau" seems to have been made up just to wind people up and to make clicks on this blog high? I highly doubt if this is even a Kenyan. This sounds like someone got worked-up by the Brazil issue and dreamed of this idea. More-rover it could also be just another marketing strategy by someone/people.
Anyway, people should just stop this slinging match of insulting each nation that Kenyans in this country this and Tanzanians in this country that. At the end of day we all know every country has its shares of trouble, yes Kenyans have a big issue with Tribalism and Alcoholism, however does that mean there no drug abusers, homosexuality or alcoholics in Tanzania, or that there is NO crime and violence in Dar es salaam.

Come on people every city on this globe has its shares of crime and violence, it maybe in different percentages, but it is there. That’s the part and parcel of a developing country…even European cities have mass numbers or knife crimes you name it therefore no country is immune from it.
As much as some are claiming that Kenyans are rotting in foreign jails etc....and so are Tanzanians not only in mass Fraud but also in drag trafficking cases too so who's better than the other then.
If Somalia’s and the Election aftermath is going to be brought into this argument then I would like to point out that the same Somalis that you're laughing at for having boarder issues with Kenyans are the same name that Tanzanians use to claim asylum abroad.
The election ciaos and bloodshed that was witnessed in 2007 in Kenya, was a landmark for that nation, as sad as it may sound but WE needed such a horrendous thing to happen in order to wake us all up. As history has it every successfully nation on this earth that is enjoying full benefits of democracy MUST have gone through a revolution at some point in its history.... look at the 1st world war 1 & the 2nd, Bosnia & Yugoslavia...the list can go on.
It was indeed a very sad time and that we lost 1000+ people during those ethinic clashes, but that was a bridge we crossed that needed to be crossed, and now each and every Kenyan is aware of there duty and liability and God help us that we shall never have to go through that AGAIN. Rwanda is our role model...and they've been there done it and look how glorious that country is coming up, infact this is our(Kenya's) economic threat, give it a decade they will be the Star of East Africa.
If this is now a weapon for Tanzania or indeed any other nation to use against us you're free to do so, nevertheless it is well over due THAT WAS THAT AND WE’VE MOVED ON. What goes round comes round too. Just because Kenyans are not cowards and they will stand up for what they believe in does not mean there are inhumane.

I can only add that only few months ago there were cases of Albinos being massacred in Tanzania and what would you call that; animosity? Just like what we saw in Kenya in 2007??? At the end of it no country is better than the other we both have our shortfalls we should learn from each other.
Points have been said lets move on to more productive discussions.

ReplyDeleteYours are a wise person's words, whoever Mr. Kamau is, his words dont deserve responce of the kind to retaliate or try to show how Tanzanians/Kenyans are better than the other, no one will admit their weaknesses. It wont do us any good other than exchange of insults and display of swagger. My words to bloggers, the writting of this type should not be given a room in the first place. A thorugh scrutiny of what somebody has written should be done before it is brought to the public domain.

Well said Zena,
ReplyDeleteSuch provocations are not positive at all, finger pointing and calling each other names is nothing but indeed destructive,
Lets learn from each other and move forward rather than look at each other and start fighting,
Matukio
Zena....
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! you are a true analyst!
DID SHE JUST CALLED COWARDS?
Kila mtu anasema msimjibu Kamau at the same time anaandika tena the whole page...Nini maana ya kusema usijibu mtu? Don't write anything...That is plain and simple...Lets move on people it's not the end of the world ..life must go on....
ReplyDeleteTanzania tunapenda kukaa kwenye habari au kitu kimoja miaka. Hii issue huku niliko ingeshakua a thing of the past ..History ..Kwisha...15 minutes of fame is over...kwa nini mnampa Kamau the whole week????
Hutakiwi kusema DID SHE JUST CALLED COWARDS?
Michu badili topic
ReplyDeleteYou needed a bloodshed to wake up? Wao!! if that is true Im afraid to say you must have a sleeping sickness at its advanced level!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel sick to my stomach to see a mere Kenyan trying to tell us what is right and what is wrong! Look Mungikis you are nowhere near to tell us what we should do! We (proud) Tanzanians are responsible for our Tanzania! We fought for our independence and we are/will fight for our development!
Asanteni.
MIMI NI MTANZANIA NADIRIKI KUSEMA NI KWELI "TANZANIANS ARE COWARDS".
ReplyDeleteMICHUZI WEKA HIO NAJUA UKWELI UNAUMA.
Zena,
ReplyDeleteWewe mjinga kweli kusema savage, tribal killing ndio ujasiri.
Cowards=Waoga
Inaingia akilini kweli? Kama sio uwoga then tuite ni nini? Tafakari.
Sat Jun 05, 07:33:00 PM you might as well not be a Tanzanian, unless you prove it.
ReplyDeleteMichu, this whole debate is wrong in the first place, it had rather involved local issues than cross-national ones. When arguments/debates/fights of this nature emerge between nations your wisdom in ending them timely would be most appreciated. Please exercise a full and wise control of what you tranform into public news and debates. Internal (Tanzania/Tanzania) debates are very good though.
Jamani kutojua kiingereza sio ati hujui kila kitu, "Did she just called them cowards?" hapa si umepata ujumbe kwani dhamira ya lugha ni nini? Mi naomba kuuliza hivi Ulaya kuna nchi ngapi zinazozungumza English? Amerika je?
ReplyDeletemdau hapo juu umeongea la maana...hakuna chemistry miongoni mwa jamii za east africa na hicho ndicho kilichovunja muungano huu...serikal zinalazimisha tuingie lkn still hatupo tayari mioyoni mwetu na ndo tunaishia kutukanana km hivi..
ReplyDeleteWewe uliyesema watanzania ni cowards mjinga sana. What exactly do you imply? Was it cowardly of Tanzanians to fight Idi Amin and free Ugandans from a a hellish dictatorship? Wewe unafikiri ujasiri ni kukatana mapanga kikabila? Nenda shule, damn it!

ReplyDeleteake.
Reading these discussions makes me wonder whether infact you African people are actually primitive. I have never seen you people engage in useful discussion with the energy I see in stupid discussion like this. What is wrong with you people. You don't seem to see beyond your noses. Who is Kenyan and who is Tanzanian? You are brothers and sisters, one and the same. I am American and I lived in East Africa for years. America, with all its might does not care who you are or where you came from. America will claim you and give you citizenship if you have something to offer -- talent, brains, hard work, creativity etc, etc. I would very much like to see intelligent discussions, otherwise I am inclined to think that you people are still in the stone age, and you still have a thousand years to reach the current moment.
ReplyDeleteMOSTLY EVERY BODY IN HERE IS STUPID AND FOOLISHNESS TO ARGUE THAT THE PROBLEMS FACES TANZANIA IS NOT BAD TO MENTION IT. THE FACT THAT KAMAU MENTION WEAKNESS OF TANZANIA IS NOT THE PROBLEMS OF FREEDOM SPEACH BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY SAID THE TRUE NOT BUT THE TRUETH. WE ARE STUPIND OF IGNORANCE WHY PAY THE BRAZIL TO PLAY US SO IF WE GO THERE TO PLAY THEM ARE PAYING US MONEY? THAT IS STUPID ECONOMICS NO TEAM PAY OTHER TO COMPETITION SO WHY DID WE DO THAT MISTAKE? KAMAU IS GENIUS AND WAS JUST TELLING TRUTH BUT ARE GETTING MAD FOR NO RESOANS, THAT IS TOO MUCH MONEY TO SPEND ON WATCHING FOOTBALL WE CAN INSTALL UMISETA AND OTHER MAJOR GAMES NOT SOCCER INDEED. OK TAKE CARE AND PASS THE REGARDS TO ALL OF YOU INSIDE THERE
Nenda huko ukapake heena. Ebo!
ReplyDeleteNalitolela ndugu yangu ungeandika tu kiswahili maana lugha yako kidogo haipandi.
