his name is Daudi Nungwana.
And, yes, he is the guy pictured above.

He is a young man currently pursuing his Bcom degree in Management Information Systems in Daystar University-Kenya. Every one of his close companions knows for sure that his first love is Soccer. Back in the University he is the heart of the campus soccer team where he plays as a Striker
WHY ISN’T DAUDI IN TOP FLIGHT FOOTBALL?
Well for one, Daudi was at some point in communication with Borrusia Dortmund… But the opportunity never materialized…Then Lets just say that the only reason why he is not playing in the English Premier League today is because our country doesn’t have good mechanisms to nurture and appreciate talent up to when the talents can yield fruits. No one would allow him to pursue a career in soccer especially because there hasn’t been any promising chance at his disposal, save for one time when an agent wasted his time (story for another time). And if not for his studies today he would have been the man stealing the limelight from the likes of Mussa Hassan Mgosi and Mrisho Ngassa.
WHAT CHANCE DOES HE STAND TO PLAY PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL?
Nike Football through a competition known as THE CHANCE has given young soccer talents a chance to get noticed by the scouts. What is required of them is to set up a Fan Page on facebook and get as many people as possible to Like their pages. Ones with the most fans stand a chance of getting admitted in the Nike Academy and train for a year before finding a team to play for.
Daudi has a fan page on facebook. And I should say he is doing quite well. Currently he ranks no. 133 at 600+ fans and he is on page 8 out of 429 pages. He needs to get past the 1000 line soon.
