PHASE II of DICOTA Elections has been completed. The 2011 DICOTA Elections Returning Officers will like to announce the following as our 2011-2014 Board Of Trustees Members:

1. Iddy Mtango, Bsc.: Received 30 Votes ; equals to 63.83% of ballots casted

2. Fredrick Mjema, PMP,; Received 29 Votes; equals 61.27% of ballots casted

3. Dr. Crispin Semakula, MD,; Received 28 votes; equals 59.57% of ballots casted

4. Dr. Lennard Tenende, PhD, P.E.,; Received 28 votes; equals 59.57% of ballots casted

5. Abdul Majjid, Bsc.; Received 27 votes; equals 57.45% of ballots casted.

REMINDER: The Next Phase of DICOTA Elections, the *DICOTA Officers will commence on May 11^th, 2011

*DICOTA Officers are President, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.

The purpose of DICOTA is to promote social, cultural, education, business and trade pursuits benefiting

Tanzania and the United States of America by getting involved in liaison, networking and entrepreneurial activities in the different sectors of United States’ and Tanzania's economy.

The Elections is open to all DICOTA members to vie for leadership positions and voting. Currently, DICOTA members are those who attended the 2009 and/or 2010 convention(s) including the DICOTA founders.
