The first Dar es Salaam Pedestrian Festival is being organized by Sustainable cities International, The One Stop Youth Center, The Dar es Salaam City Council and DarTourism.
It is scheduled to take place on Lumumba Street from 10.00am-5.00pm and will serve to promote tourism in Dar es Salaam and promote the local culture, while bringing to attention the issue of a lack of pedestrian and public spaces in Dar es Salaam
