I am Ben Kazora, the Chairman of the East Africa Chamber of Commerce, USA. The Chamber of Commerce (EACC) is an entity dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining member communities through entrepreneurship, consulting and promoting trade opportunities in both U.S and East Africa via interaction with both regions businesses and governmental regions. The advancement of social and economic relationships between the governments and businesses in the two regions is the nucleus of our existence.

The Chamber is organizing its annual Conference to Promote East Africa/U.S Trade, Investment and entrepreneurship, which will take place in Dallas on 11-13 October 2012. The purpose of the Conference is to facilitate business to business linkage as well as showcase opportunities for investments, highlight market analysis as well as underscore vital government trade policies in the two regions. High level government and business leaders as well as top level subject specialist will make presentations on their respective fields of expertise. There will be sector presentations in various fields such as International Trade and Commerce, Energy and Mining, Financial Services, Tourism, Agriculture, infrastructure, Health and Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate among others.

USA will be heavily represented by world renowned businessmen and women alongside the local political leaders. The East African business community will be available and ready to discuss business opportunities with your organization. Alongside the East African Business community will be their respective ambassadors from Washington, DC. Additionally, various cabinet level leaders from East Africa will also be present.
