The Britain Tanzania Society (BTS) Annual
general meeting will be held at Westminster
Central Hall, Saturday 10 November, 2012 from 2PM.
Hon. Dr. Harrison G. Mwakyembe- (MP), Tanzania
Minister for Transport -
guest speaker, will be talking on "The Quest for a New Constitution in Tanzania: Prospects
and Challenges".
The next BTS Seminar is at SOAS on December
6th at 5PM, on the media and democracy in Tanzania.
Malaika Kids, a childrens charity familiar
to many of you, is having it's annual London reception on November 20th from
6-8.30PM at 120 Moorgate,and BTS members are welcome to attend.
Also, there are fascinating article on the
BBC website recently about the spread of the internet in Tanzania, which might
well be of interest. The pace of change is quite extraordinary.
