During his trials the Zambian successfully met the satisfaction of both players and leadership of DGC squash section.

Hirji said the 35-year-old trainer will be contracted for renewable six month.

“Bwalya is a good coach with a vision to promote and develop talents of our young players. We expect him in the country early next year and his arrival is likely to help and improve the game at our club and the country in general,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hirji said renovations of the club’s four squash courts are expected to end mid next year.

The Hirji said the renovation will help to raise standard of the game in the country as many people will access the courts.

He said upon completion the club will be capable to organise both local and international squash tournaments with remarkable ease.

“The completion of the four courts will be an inspiration to many people who are now sidelined due to congestion and poor standard of the courts,” he said.
