H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America on the occasion of the National Day of the United States of America.

The message reads as follows;

Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to convey my sincere congratulations to you and through you to the Government and People of the United States of America on the occasion of your country’s 237thIndependence Day.

This year’s celebration of your independence day comes just after you have concluded ahistoric visit to Tanzania. We were touched by your presence amongst us, the memories of which we shall ever cherish.

I am confident that our two countries will continue to pursue our shared values and aspirations for the mutual benefit of our peoples. I wish in this regard to reaffirm my commitment and desire to further strengthen our cordial and fraternal ties of friendship and cooperation.

Please accept, Your Excellency, my best wishes for Your continued good health, peace and prosperity for the people of the United States of America”.

    Nimeamini sisi watanzania wagumu kuelewa,hapo kingereza kimeteleza na bado watu wanatoa kisingizio mama eti kingereza lugha ya tatu alafu ukumbuke kama kingereza kimeteleza kwenye wizara ya mambo ya nje,kwa mwananchi wa kawaida inamaanisha kwamba serikali inatuaibisha wanavyotuwakilisha huko nje ya mipaka yetu.Hemu jamani tuache kujipumbaza hii karne ya 21 na hivi makampuni ya nje yanavyo miminika bongo tutaishia tu kuwa walinzi kwenye nchi yetu
