Fashion week Zanzibar Founders Film Lovers Island scoops three awards at Zanzibar International Film Festival for Best ZUKU Swahili film, The awards were awarded for Best Acting in Swahili Film, Best Director in Swahili Film and Best Swahili Feature film. Thats the great achievement and congrats to Javed Jafferji for raising the standards of films in Tanzania.

As evidence of achieving this goal, ZG Films presented a rare double billing at this year’s Zanzibar International Film Festival. With Journey to the State House: The Life of Seif Shariff Hamad and Glamour: The Reality Behind Dreams, ZG Films is presenting itself as the leader in Tanzanian film production. Now ZG Films is preparing to release it’s second feature film of 2011.
