Dad, it is now 27 years
that you departed from us too sudden without bidding farewell to anyone.
Since that fateful and dreadful Saturday 16th of August 1986 when you answered God’s call
peacefully, a dark cloud of grief, sorrow and confusion fell upon us, punched a
big hole in our life. It was like a
nightmare. To others you are gone
forever but in our hearts you shall be remembered forever.
Your sudden death still hurts us Dad. You were a pillar of our family. Oasis of
wisdom and intelligence and advisor to many.
Life has not been the same but with god at hand we are cared up.
Dad, it’s not easy to keep going without father’s love. We
are trying so hard to be strong enough to carry on as you would expect us
to.
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the
things you are, the things you never want to loose. They say time is healer, is it really? Or we
just burry our sorrow deeper and deeper! We wonder. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Fondly remembered by your loving Children Nelly, Gerald, Louisa,
Alice, Susan and Andrew, Son in-laws Pascal, Rikard & Peter, Your daughter
in-law Aisha (Angela), grand children Jadden, Nelly, Andrew, Simon & Mercy
and relatives & friends.
JOHN: 11:25
Death is torturous. I embrace you at this time of sorrowful recollection. There are certain types of pain that time cannot heal, we just learn to get used to it. There are good days and bad days, I too lost a parent. Keep making your father proud with what you do, honor him. You are his legacy. I have met your brother, Andrew, smart and intelligent fellow. You guys are a force to recon with, so chin up and keep on stepping. Life is short. Hugs xo
ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice words. We try to make our parents proud even though they are not here on earth with us but we know they are watching over us and they give us strength to keep moving forward instead of staying in sorrow. May all those who crossed over rest in eternal peace.Amen
