Dear Fellow Muslim brothers and sisters I take this opportunity to wish you a very happy successful Eid al Adha.
“Eid' is a word in Arabic that means feast or festival and 'Adha' means sacrifice”. This holiday is celebrated to honor the Prophet Abraham’s meekness to sacrifice his one lately begotten first-born son Isaac, as well as Isaac’s submissiveness to accept to be sacrificed, before God intervened and provided Abraham with a lamb to sacrifice instead of his son. It's a sacred story told in both the Quran and the Bible.
