On
31 March, our new commercial partner for UK visa services, Teleperformance
Ltd., will take over the running of our Visa Application Centre in
Tanzania. The Visa Application Centre will be moving from its current
location at the British High Commission to different premises in Dar es Salaam
as follows:

UK
visa customers will continue to complete their applications and pay their visa
fee online at Visa4UK before
selecting an appointment at the Teleperformance application centre. Hours of
operation at the new centre will be increased from 0830-1630hrs, offering a
wider range of daily appointments. Our standard service levels will not change
as a result of outsourcing to a commercial partner. Operating outsourced Visa
Application Centre facilities allows us more flexibility to drive improvements
in customer service with greater access to added value services such as
priority visas and return courier options. We will work closely with our
commercial partner to ensure continuity of service during the transition
period.
All
UK visa applications will continue to be decided by UK Visas & Immigration
staff.
The
UK remains open for business and these new arrangements will allow us to
maintain a world class, competitive visa system to support Britain in the
global race. We are listening to the needs of our customers and these changes
will improve our service by increasing the number of visa application centres
globally and expanding the number of locations and countries where premium
services are available.
Mnajaribu kurahisisha baada ya kuona Watanzania wanamaliza mahitaji yao yote China......na kwa kuwa Uchumi unaongezeka kwa kasi ndio mnataka kuwavutia watu ili waje nchini kwenye kibiashara mvune pesa zao!!!......mmechelewa!!!.

ReplyDeleteIf you have managed to get know about business competition and the way you could retain UK place on global competitiveness, how many days awaiting time?
We have been discouraged with dwindling long Visa awaiting time at the extent of 5 days!
Why should I not turn towards US Embassy for the same day Visa decision?
If UK continue to issue visas after 5 days or more, we have to say you have been defeated on the global race on competitiveness!

On first intention seeing UK visa announcement with declaration to business competitiveness here I could think you want to let us know that you are about to issue UK visas on the same day !!!
ReplyDeleteI am always dragging back my legs when considering tedious Nairobi Visa processing and 5 days UK visa awaiting time!
I rather choose another country for Business than un-business friendly UK with Nairobi visa processing with 5 days or more visa waiting time!
