Education to all road users and intro to the DART must go hand in hand. The simulation shows cars and buses stopping smoothly at a red light to allow pedestrians to cross (the Western roads way). I have come across drivers in Dar, and this is until very recent, who on a countless number of times run through red lights for apparent no reason, and even honk horns annoyingly and would almost want to run over at pedestrians at a crossing, with no consideration to the elderly and children. The same with pedestrians who choose to cross the at any section of the road without realizing dangers they may put themselves into. Until few days ago, this situation, given heavy traffic etc is very common in Dar. Education to all road users will make transition to this welcomed system, more smooth, let us not wait for the system to be fully functional.
Kwa kuangalia hiyo 'simulator' iko poa na tukijaaliwa kuwa katika mfumo huo kihalisia, basi ni maendeleo mazuri na yatasaidia sana hata katika suala zima la ukaguzi wa vyombo vya barabarani kwa kuzingatia ubora wake na pia kwa madereva kuwa makini kwa kuzizingatia pia kuzifata vilivyo sheria zote za usalama barabarani. Pia wendao kwa miguu wataweza kufuata utaratibu mzuri wa kuvuka barabara kuliko ilivyo sasa.
Nimeangalia hii video..kisha nikakamilisha kwa kusema ..hii nindoto tena ya mchana kweupe..nafafanua...barabara nyingi kama si zote tena mpya hazina: 1.Sehemu maalum ya watembea kwa miguu, 2.waendesha baiskeli 3.walemavu 4. vivuko [zebra] vya wote hao waliopo ktk kundi 1,2,3. 5. madereva hawana heshima wala fikira kwa kundi 1,2,3.6.hahaha hizo nyasi tu mtihani tena mkubwa....ubungo maji ya kunywa hakuna hayo ya kumwagia nyasi mpaka ziwe za kijani yatatoka wapi thubutuuuu 7.ulinzi wa miundo mbinu nani atatoa maana maana huko kila kitu mali.....
