You can't say you need an executive director of a National Hospital, who is a doctor with a master degree in Medicine/Surgery???
ReplyDeleteHivi sisi watanzania tuna laana nini..
A good doctor with leadership/ management skills hawezi kuwa daktari bingwa wa upasuaji sijui nini. Na dakrati mzuri bingwa hawezi kuwa na leadership/ management skills nzuri. Hivi vitu haviendani!
Kwa nini Tanzania hatubadiliki. Kila siku tunasema siju eheee Muhimbili... haya ndiyo mambo yanayoturudisha nyuma.
Executive Director wa Muhimbili, anatakiwa awe daktari sawa lakini awe amebobea kwenye business administration/ economics/organisation development.
I can tell you a sociologist with a MBA + Hospital Management training can do better than dakrati bingwa.
Madaktari bingwa tuwaache wakaone wagonjwa.
Nakubali na maoni ya hapo juu. Panhitajika msomi na mjuzi wa kuendesha biasahra anaye shuhuda ya MBA. Daktari hasa, hawezi kuwa mbunifu na mambo ya kuendesha business as big and complex as Muhimbili. They need to find a very knowledgeable MBA holder with a proven track record in other high profile managerial positions. Skills in Human Resources and Sociology as well as Research methods skills would be a plus. I hope they find the right person, so they can challenge the top leadership in the country to invest more in Doctors and facilities at Muhumbili, so that the President will have enough trust to continue with his health check ups at our National Hospital and not seek to enrich other doctors and other economies with hard earned Tanzanian tax payers money. But, I do wish him well and a speedy recovery so he can come back and tackle this issue. Get well soon Mr. President. :)
