Entries to the 2015 African Blogger Awards are now open!

2014 marked the launch of the African Blogger Awards – the first programme that measures online and social influencers’ reach and influence through data analysis. This provides the opportunity for influencers to be measured objectively against their peers based on their reach, resonance, and relevance. The competition was incredibly well received and 2014 saw over 520 entries from 27 African countries, with 25 winners being crowned. In an effort to be an all inclusive programme, 2015 entries are now open to bloggers, Instagrammers, Tweeters, Facebookers and YouTubers across Africa, with categories including Advice, Fashion and Beauty, Events and Nightlife, Education, Sports, Political, Technology and Gadgets, Youth Culture and many others. Think you have what it takes to claim your spot as the most influential in your field?   Entries are free, but to enter you’ll need to have your blog, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube profile (or a combination thereof) registered on Webfluential.com - a platform designed to quantify the reach, resonance and relevance of users with over 1000 active, legitimate followers. This year's winners will be based on the latest analytical metrics, so even if you entered last year, you'll need to re-enter this year to qualify.  Winners in each category will receive a web banner announcing their achievement that can be personally leveraged through their social networks as well as a commemorative trophy.
