As Barcelona’s incredible forward team of Messi, Neymar and Suarez take on Juventus F.C in Berlin Germany on 6th of June; Heineken Tanzania set up an exclusive VIP experience for its football lovers to champion the match from Dar es salaam.

To bring the excitement of the world class tournament to fans, Heineken  hosted the final match screening at George n Dragon in Masaki, all Samaki Samaki venues, Club 777 in Kawe,  on exclusive events open to the public due to popular demand following past UEFA Champions League final match screenings they have hosted before. The final match screening is part of the momentum of ‘Champion the match’ campaign that Heineken had launched when the games kicked off in February 2015.

“We have massive fans of football in Tanzania and because of timing, we understand that it may have been a bit tough to experience the excitement of the UCL in real-time,” said Heineken Tanzania Country Manager Michael Mbungu, “Throughout the tournaments we created ways to encourage football fans to enjoy the games and in the process make them feel as though they are part of the experience. The final match screening is a culmination of that experience. ” During the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Champions League, the international brewer, launched the Heineken limited edition ‘trophy’ bottle that was designed to reward consumers with a trophy of their own as part of champion the match campaign.

The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious club league; the premier sporting event has become a global phenomenon that fits perfectly with the Heineken brand, which is enjoyed in almost every country in the world.
