INAUGURATION OF 2015 UWEZO ANNUAL LEARNING ASSESSMENT IN HANDENI DISTRICT

Uwezo annual learning assessments are citizen-led assessments, aimed at collecting household data on children’s mastery levels of reading and arithmetic. On 14^th October, 2015, Twaweza inaugurated this assessment for Handeni District. 

The Handeni District Commissioner, Honorable Husna Rajab Msangi, emphasizes a point during the inauguration of a two-days training of community volunteers who are prepared to undertake the Uwezo Annual Assessment on literacy and numeracy in Handeni Town Council. The workshop was held on 14^th October, 2015 at Bwawani Hotel, in Handeni.
